Terms of Service
Last updated 30 September 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and Keystone. They apply whenever you use Keystone, with or without an account. By using it, you agree to them.
Draft. This page is being finalised and may change before Keystone launches. Questions? Write to the address on the legal notice.
These terms apply from: [OWNER INPUT REQUIRED: the effective date, e.g. the public launch]. The date of the latest change is at the top of this page.
1. Who we are
Keystone is built and run by two developers, [OWNER INPUT REQUIRED: the operators’ names, or the company once one is registered], private individuals in [OWNER INPUT REQUIRED: country where the operators live]. “Keystone”, “we”, “us” and “our” mean them and the Keystone service. Contact details are on the legal notice.
2. What Keystone is
Keystone brings live streams, recordings and chat from Twitch, Kick and YouTube into one place, so you can find and watch them together. We don’t host any of it. Every stream, recording, chat message and image belongs to its creator and is played or served by the platform it comes from.
Keystone isn’t affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Twitch, Kick, YouTube or Google.
3. The platforms’ rules apply too
When you watch or chat through Keystone, you’re also using those platforms, so their terms apply to you as well:
By using Keystone, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. How Keystone handles your data is explained in our Privacy Policy.
4. Who can use Keystone
[OWNER INPUT REQUIRED: the minimum age for using Keystone] You also need to be old enough to use each platform you sign in with; each sets its own minimum age.
Some streams are marked as mature (18+) by the platforms. Keystone shows them unless you turn them off in Settings → Content or the menu. [OWNER INPUT REQUIRED: whether mature streams should be hidden by default, and need an 18+ confirmation to show]
5. Your account
- You sign in with a Twitch, Kick or YouTube account. Keystone has no passwords of its own, so keeping that platform account secure keeps your Keystone account secure.
- Signing in lets Keystone use that platform for you, only when you ask: read the channels you follow there, find channels in search, and send chat messages as you. Following a channel in Keystone saves it in Keystone; it doesn’t follow it on the platform.
- You’re responsible for what you do through your account.
- You can unlink a platform in Settings → Connections, and delete your account and its data at any time in Settings → Account.
6. Chat
Messages you send through Keystone go to Twitch or Kick and appear there as you, exactly as if you had typed them on the platform. The platform’s rules and the channel’s moderators apply, and they may hold back, delete or act on your messages. Keystone doesn’t keep a copy.
7. Using Keystone fairly
Please don’t:
- break the law or the platforms’ rules, in chat or anywhere else;
- harass, threaten or impersonate anyone;
- scrape Keystone, overload it, or try to get into parts of it or its API that aren’t meant for you;
- hide, cover or change a platform’s player, its ads or its branding;
- copy, resell or pass off Keystone as your own.
If you do, we may restrict or close your account. Unless the law or safety stops us, we’ll tell you what we did and why, and you can ask us to review it by writing to the contact on the legal notice. The platforms may also act under their own rules.
8. Reporting content
Streams, recordings and chat are hosted by the platforms, so the fastest way to have something removed is to report it on the platform itself. You can also report it to us at [OWNER INPUT REQUIRED: contact email]. Please include:
- a link to where it appears in Keystone;
- why you believe it’s illegal, or infringes your rights;
- your name and email address (you may stay anonymous for some kinds of illegal content);
- a statement that your report is accurate and made in good faith.
We’ll confirm we received it, look at it promptly and tell you what we decided. [OWNER INPUT REQUIRED: what Keystone can do about reported content; there is no way yet to stop showing a Twitch or Kick channel]
[OWNER INPUT REQUIRED: whether to register a DMCA agent with the US Copyright Office, or leave US copyright notices to the platforms]
9. Keystone itself
The Keystone name, design and software are ours. You may use Keystone for your own, non-commercial viewing. Other names and logos, including Twitch, Kick and YouTube, belong to their owners.
10. Keystone is free
Watching streams on Keystone is free, and there are no ads. In the future we may add:
- donations through the Support Keystone page, which give you nothing extra in return;
- links to game stores that pay us a commission when you buy something (we’ll say clearly which links these are);
- optional paid features, with their own terms that you’ll see before paying.
None of these exists yet. We’ll update these terms before any of them goes live.
11. No guarantees
Keystone is provided as it is. Streams, chat and recordings depend on the platforms, which can change or stop working at any time. We can’t promise that Keystone will always be available, complete or free of errors, and we may change or remove features.
12. Liability
As far as the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for content provided by creators or the platforms. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law, such as for intent or gross negligence, or takes away your rights as a consumer. [verify: a lawyer to confirm this clause under Serbian law]
13. Ending things
You can stop using Keystone and delete your account at any time. We may change or end the service. If we shut it down, we’ll give notice in the app where we can, and delete account data as described in the Privacy Policy.
14. Changes to these terms
When these terms change, we update the date at the top. If a change matters, we’ll tell you in the app before it takes effect. If you keep using Keystone after that, the new terms apply; if you don’t agree, you can delete your account.
15. Law and disputes
[OWNER INPUT REQUIRED: which country’s law governs these terms, and where disputes go (a lawyer should confirm)] If you’re a consumer, you keep any protection the law of your own country gives you. Please contact us first; most problems can be solved by email.
